Pengaruh aktivitas fisik terhadap insomnia pada menopause

Abstract

Insomnia ditandai dengan ketidakpuasan terhadap kualitas maupun kuantitas tidur dan terjadi secara berulang. Aktivitas fisik secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan kesehatan tubuh. Namun sebaliknya, jika seseorang tidak melakukan aktivitas fisik dapat mempercepat penuaan dan menyebabkan berbagai gangguan kesehatan. Sebuah riset metaanalisis dari 29 riset mengenai insomnia, diperoleh bahwa perempuan lebih berisiko mengalami insomnia dibanding laki-laki. Studi yang dilakukan di India, dari sekitar 500 perempuan menopause dengan rentang umur sekitar 45 tahun, terdapat 29,5% yang mengalami insomnia. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat aktivitas fisik terhadap kejadian insomnia pada perempuan menopause di Rumah Sakit Harapan Bersama Singkawang. Studi ini bersifat analitik observasional dengan desain potong lintang. Sebanyak 110 responden dikumpulkan menggunakan metode consecutive sampling. Pengambilan data responden melalui wawancara langsung dengan menggunakan kuesioner Insomnia Rating Scale (IRS) dan International Physical Activity Questionnaire versi Short-From (IPAQ-SF) selama periode bulan Januari-Juli 2021. Jumlah responden yang tidak mengalami insomnia maupun yang mengalami insomnia sama banyaknya, yatitu masing-masing kelompok sebanyak 55 orang. Sebanyak 27 (49,1%) responden yang tidak insomnia dan 23 (41,8%) responden yang insomnia memiliki aktivitas fisik yang tinggi. Hasil analisis tidak didapatkan hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat aktivitas fisik dengan kejadian insomnia pada perempuan menopause (p=0,255).
