Pengaruh Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek terhadap Kemampuan Literasi Sains Siswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil kemampuan literasi sains siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran proyek berbantuan modul bila dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran ceramah disertai percobaan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMA di Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data kemampuan literasi sains dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes yang telah divalidasi ahli dan diuji reliabilitasnya. Rata-rata kemampuan literasi sains siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran proyek pada penelitian ini adalah 433, sedangkan rata-rata kemampuan literasi sains siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran ceramah disertai percobaan adalah 263. Profil kemampuan literasi sains siswa menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran proyek berbantuan modul lebih baik pengaruhnya terhadap kemampuan literasi sains siswa dibandingkan pembelajaran ceramah disertai percobaan. Kemampuan menjelaskan fenomena ilmiah pada kedua kelompok siswa dalam penelitian ini lebih tinggi dibandingkan dua kompetensi literasi sains lainnya yaitu kemampuan mengevaluasi dan merancang penyelidikan ilmiah serta kemampuan menafsirkan data dan bukti ilmiah.Kata Kunci: Literasi sains, Pembelajaran berbasis proyek.
