Abstract

En años recientes han surgido formas alternativas de aprendizaje de las ecuaciones diferenciales ordinarias (EDO) como una medida para contrarrestar el auge que han tenido los métodos analíticos en las décadas pasadas. Las razones por las que han prevalecido los métodos analíticos es tema de estudio de este artículo, así como sus repercusiones en el ámbito académico. Aunque el éxito de los métodos analíticos se analiza principalmente desde una perspectiva académica, no se puede dejar de mencionar que las formas alternativas involucran principalmente presentaciones geométricas y virtuales. Más allá de la inminente repercusión de los adelantos computacionales, en las siguientes líneas se realiza un análisis más bien teórico y se cuestiona si el auge de los métodos analíticos obedece a una manera natural de comunicarnos en contraposición con los métodos geométricos que requieren aprender nuevas formas de comunicación, y eso es lo que se cuestiona en las siguientes líneas.
