Analisis Perbandingan Produktivitas Material Budidaya Akuaponik Berbasis IoT (Internet of Things) dengan Budidaya Akuaponik Konvensional

Abstract

Akuaponik menjadi salah satu metode bercocok tanam wilayah perkotaan (urban farming) yang memberikan hasil panen ganda berupa ikan dan tanaman. Salah satu aspek yang dapat dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hasil panen akuaponik berupa ikan lele sangkuriang dan tanaman kangkung dalam waktu singkat adalah menambahkan sistem internet of things (IoT). Adanya sistem IoT memungkinkan pembudidaya untuk mengotomasi pekerjaan berulang dan memantau media akuaponik dari jarak jauh. Diperlukan adanya analisis hasil panen yang dihasilkan masing-masing sistem akuaponik terlebih dahulu sebelum teknologi tersebut diterapkan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis perbandingan produktivitas material habis pakai untuk menghasilkan panen berupa ikan lele sangkuriang dan kangkung darat oleh dua instalasi akuaponik menggunakan IoT dan konvensional. Parameter yang diteliti untuk mendukung hasil analisis tersebut adalah berat ikan dan berat kangkung dalam 14 hari. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa berat ikan dan kangkung yang dihasilkan akuaponik IoT lebih berat daripada akuaponik konvensional sehingga unit produksi yang dihasilkan lebih banyak. Banyaknya unit produksi yang dihasilkan akuaponik IoT membuat persentase produktivitas akuaponik IoT lebih unggul dengan selisih 112%. Tingginya nilai indeks produktivitas akuaponik IoT dibandingkan akuaponik konvensional menandakan bahwa akuaponik IoT lebih efektif dalam mengelola material habis pakai dalam waktu singkat.
