Abstract

Los Myxomycetes son un grupo de protistas ameboides que intervienen en la descomposición de materia orgánica de origen vegetal. En Perú se han registrado alrededor del 22% de las especies conocidas a nivel mundial, pero el territorio está estudiado de forma desigual y los bosques tropicales amazónicos, en particular la selva central peruana, apenas ha sido explorada. En el presente trabajo, se dan a conocer los resultados del estudio llevado a cabo en 2020, en la selva central de Pasco, provincia de Oxapampa. Se mencionan seis especies desconocidas de este territorio y se registra, por primera vez, Craterium roseum en el Perú. La riqueza y diversidad de especies de Myxomycetes en este territorio está subestimada, y requiere de estudios mas exhaustivos para precisar su mixobiota.
