Abstract

Se evaluó la calidad y eficiencia de un biol elaborado a partir de residuos de cosecha de cacao sobre un clon de cacao fino de aroma (TSH-565) en una parcela con arreglo agroforestal, ubicada en el distrito de Campo Verde, región Ucayali. Se utilizó un diseño de bloques completos al azar con tres repeticiones y cinco tratamientos aplicados a nivel de copa de árbol. El tratamiento control consistió en una única aplicación de la fertilización que realiza el productor de 1 kg de gallinaza, 250 g roca fosfórica y 250 g de dolomita, el T1 en la aplicación de biol diluido en agua a una concentración de 10%, T2 al 15%, T3 al 20% y para el T4 se combinó biol al 15% adicionando la fertilización del productor. El biol elaborado posee un alto contenido nutricional de macro y micronutrientes (N, P, K, Ca, Mg), salinidad y huminas. El contenido de N y K en el suelo no evidenció una variación considerable entre tratamientos, a excepción del P donde si se observó incrementos. En temporada de sequía solo variables de peso, diámetro (T1 y T2) y cantidad de mazorcas (T4 y T2) fueron significativamente superiores (P<0,05). Con el inicio de lluvias no se evidenció efectos residuales significativos. Los rendimientos más altos para grano seco fueron obtenidos en T1 (366 kg ha-1) y T2 (380 kg ha-1), siendo el más bajo el control con 185 kg ha-1 respectivamente.
