SELECCIÓN DE PLANTAS MADRE PROMISORIAS DE Myrciaria dubia (HBK) MC VAUGH, CAMU CAMU ARBUSTIVO, EN UCAYALI-PERÚ

Abstract

La selección se realizó a partir de una colección de 315 plantas de tres procedencias, instaladas en 1998, en el vivero de Pacacocha (INIA). Se analizaron datos de rendimiento en kg/pl/año de los años 1998-2002. La selección se orientó a obtener plantas con rendimientos promedio mayor a 22,15 kg/pl, considerando a u+2s, como ajuste de selección. Se encontraron 17 plantas madre promisorias con rendimiento, con promedio de 41.46 kg/pl para la planta INIA-17 y un rendimiento máximo de 79.8 kg/pl-año.
