In June 2025, the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding creator and organizer of the serial production of rocket and artillery modules for land and sea-based (automatic cannons, anti-ship missile protection systems, turret installations with machine-gun weapons for boats, missiles, etc.), the first General Director of JSC Tulamashzavod, Hero of Socialist Labor, laureate of the State Prizes of the USSR and the Russian Federation, Vadim Sergeyevich Usov. Under his leadership, the largest scientific and production complex in the country was formed on the basis of Tulamashzavod JSC, providing accelerated development of more than hundreds of military and civilian products at the stage of development work together with developers and subsequent serial production accompanied by the entire product life cycle. V.S. Usov personally organized the production of the Kashtan product; no one at the enterprise at that time understood the importance and significance of mastering this product for the future development of the Tulamashzavod. Usov organized the construction of a rocket production facility with the development and mass production of Kan and Arkan products. It was Usov V.S. in the late 90s, early 2000s. the development of products Pantsir 1C, Palm, Duet, Arkan, Melon, Broadsword, TKB-149, a range of diesel engines, laser technological and medical equipment, etc. has been organized. A huge contribution was made by V.S. Usov to ensure the smooth operation of defense industry enterprises as Chairman of the Board of Directors of defense industry enterprises of the city of Tula (2002...2006). On the outer perimeter of Tulamashzavod there is an exhibition of portraits of rocket and artillery products that the Hero of Socialist Labor Vadim Sergeyevich Usov selected, developed, mastered, modernized and mass-produced. These are truly the bins of the Motherland, which currently provide the Russian Federation with counteraction to world Nazism on the battlefield. So is the organizational, scientific and technical activity of the outstanding gunsmith, patriot of the country – Hero of Socialist Labor Usov Vadim Sergeevich – the coffers and the power of the Russian Federation.

В июне 2025 года исполняется 100 лет со дня рождения выдающемуся создателю и организатору серийного выпуска ракетно-артиллерийских модулей для сухопутного и морского базирования (автоматические пушки, комплексы защиты от противокорабельных ракет, башенные установки с пулеметным вооружением для катеров, ракеты и т.д.), первому Генеральному директору ОАО «АК «Туламашзавод», Герою Социалистического Труда, лауреату Государственных премий СССР и РФ Усову Вадиму Сергеевичу. Под его руководством на базе АК «Туламашзавод» был сформирован крупнейший в стране научно-производственный комплекс, обеспечивающий ускоренное освоение более сотен военных и гражданских изделий на стадии опытно-конструкторских работ совместно с разработчиками и последующим серийным производством при сопровождении всего жизненного цикла изделий. Усов В.С. самолично организовал выпуск изделия «Каштан»; никто на предприятии в то время не понимал важность и значимость освоения этого изделия для будущего развития Туламашзавода. В.С. Усов организовал строительство ракетного производства с освоением и серийным производством изделий «Кан» и «Аркан». Именно Усовым В.С. в конце 90-х, начале 2000 годов. организовано освоение изделий Панцирь 1С, Пальма, Дуэт, Аркан, Бахча, Палаш, ТКБ-149, гаммы дизельных двигателей, лазерного технологического и медицинского оборудования и др. Громадный вклад внесен Усовым В.С. по обеспечению бесперебойной работы предприятий ОПК в качестве Председателя совета директоров предприятий ОПК города Тулы (2002…2006). На внешнем периметре АК «Туламашзавод» устроена выставка портретов ракетно-артиллерийских изделий, которые Герой Социалистического Труда Усов Вадим Сергеевич отбирал, разрабатывал, осваивал, модернизировал и серийно производил. Это по-настоящему закрома Родины, которые в настоящее время обеспечивают РФ противодействие мировому нацизму на поле боя. Так и организационно-научно-техническая деятельность выдающегося оружейника, патриота страны – Героя Социалистического Труда Усова Вадима Сергеевича – закрома и мощь РФ.
