The research is devoted to the third most famous object of the sacred landscape of the northern Selkups - the sanctuary of the spirit of Loz-ima-kota, located in the lower reaches of the river Taz near the village of Sidorovsk. Based on the analysis of information about the sanctuary found in the scientific literature and obtained in the course of field research, a number of important conclusions were drawn. The folklore texts associated with this and other sanctuaries are not, as they claim, historical legends, but are mythological biographies of spirits, which explains where the spirit came from, what it was famous for and what it is responsible for. All the spirits worshiped at the sanctuaries are ancestral spirits, ancestors and at the same time the owners of the ancestral lands, they were in charge of the fishing sphere of the life of the clan, as well as its food.

Исследование посвящено третьему по степени известности объекту сакрального ландшафта северных селькупов - святилищу духа Лоз-има-кота, расположенному в нижнем течении р. Таз близ поселка Сидоровск. На основе анализа сведений о святилище, найденных в научной литературе и полученных в ходе полевых исследований, сделан ряд важных выводов. Фольклорные тексты, связанные с этим и другими святилищами, не являются, как в них утверждается, историческими преданиями, а представляют собой мифологические биографии/характеристики духов, где объясняется, откуда появился дух, чем прославился, и что входит в его обязанности. По своей сути, все духи, почитаемые в святилищах, - это родовые духи-предки, родоначальники и одновременно хозяева родовых земель, отвечающие за промысловую сферу жизни рода и его пропитание.
