
Es descriuen exemples de càlculs estequiomètrics basats en aspectes de la realitat quotidiana. Estan especialment pensats per ser utilitzats en contextos educatius que promoguin metodologies actives per part dels alumnes, com ara l'aprenentatge basat en problemes i l'aprenentatge basat en la indagació dirigida. Entre altres aspectes, s'inclouen qüestions sobre estequiometria de medicaments, compostos de fluor per a la cura de les dents, fertilitzants, aigües minerals i emissions de diòxid de carboni.
Several examples of stoichiometric problems, based on different aspects of everyday life, are described. They are specially designed in active learning methodolo-gies, such as problem based learning and inquiry-guided instruction. Among other aspects, topics covered include stoichiometry of medicaments, fluorine compounds for the dental care, fertilizers, mineral waters and emissions of carbon dioxide.
