Circularidad y linealidad en la exégesis del poema extenso: Piedra de sol de Octavio Paz y Gran fuga de Alfonso Canales

Abstract

Con el presente trabajo pretendemos exponer desde un enfoque metodológico comparatista las caracterizaciones que configuran la entidad del poema extenso, atendiendo, sobre todo, a la especial relevancia estructural que opera tanto en Piedra de sol de Octavio Paz, como en Gran fuga de Alfonso Canales. Así, nuestro principal objetivo es subrayar que la proyección circular del amor en Paz y la proyección lineal de la existencia en Canales constituyen dos formas de adaptar la argumentación temática al cauce expresivo que la contiene. Por tanto, queremos fijar la fenomenología del poema extenso como un formato óptimo que posibilita una compleja red de pensamiento y simultaneidades. Finalmente, habida cuenta de que Gran fuga cumple con los parámetros genéricos del poema extenso, resulta razonable vincularla al corpus diseñado por Rastrollo Torres (2016) al tiempo que reconocemos el valor de una obra indispensable del Patrimonio Literario Andaluz.
