Abstract

Son hafızı kütüb, ayaklı kütüphane gibi isimlerle anılsa da İsmail Saib Sencer yaşadığı devirde kütüphaneciliği en iyi şekilde yerine getirmiş ve bu yönüyle de geleneksel kütüphaneciliğin temel taşlarından biri olmuştur. Yazar eserinde kendisinin farklı yönleri ve siyasi tercihlerine eğilmiş olsa da kütüphanecilik mesleğini yapmak isteyen genç meslektaşlarımızın okuması gereken eserlerden biri olduğuna inanıyorum.
