La teoría crítica de la Escuela de Frankfurt

Abstract

Entre los años de 1914 a 1923 se abrió paso, en un medio convulso y turbulento, una serie de ideas que renovarían al marxismo y aportarían nuevas perspectivas teóricas y metodológicas a las ciencias sociales. Su lugar de gestación fue Ilmenau-Alemania. En ese poblado se reunieron en febrero de 1922, Georg Lukács, Karl Korsch, Richard Sorge, Friedrick Pollock, Karl August Wittfogel, Bela Fogarasi, Karl Schrnückle, Konstantin Zetkin, entre otros, quienes eran intelectuales de izquierda. Su propósito fue leer el manuscrito todavía inédito de Karl Korsch titulado “Marxismo y Filosofía”2 y planear una semana de trabajo acerca del marxismo, que se denominó Erste Marxistische Arbeitswoche (Primera semana de trabajo marxista), con el anhelo de una segunda que no se llevó a cabo.
