
The aim of this paper is to identify a classifier that can be used to eliminate the effects of bird movements on tracks of air targets for increasing safety level of radar detections. In order to achieve this, classification algorithms which are widely used in the literature are applied to the features extracted from the tracks of radar targets and bird flocks. The classification results with simulated radar data provide good evidence that the proposed method is suitable to apply the real radar data.
