UJI STABILITAS FISIK DAN KIMIA SEDIAAN RACIKAN PULVERES NEVIRAPINE

Abstract

Proses peracikan obat masih banyak dilakukan di rumah sakit terutama untuk pasien anak-anak dan lansia. Peran seorang apoteker diperlukan untuk menjamin keamanan dan khasiat racikan obat. Obat racikan rentan akan kesalahan dan ketidaktelitian. Evaluasi secara fisika maupun kimia dinilai perlu untuk mengevaluasi stabilitas sediaan racikan obat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui stabilitas racikan pulveres nevirapin. Nevirapin dipilih karena termasuk salah satu antiretroviral yang sering diresepkan oleh dokter. Racikan pulveres nevirapin yang disimpan pada suhu ruang (25°C) dan lemari pendingin (4°C) kemudian diuji terhadap perubahan kadar, pH, dan organoleptis (warna dan bau) setiap interval hari ke-0, 7, 14, 21, dan 28. Alat yang digunakan adalah spektrofotometer UV GENESYS 10UV untuk mengukur absorbansi dengan panjang gelombang 300 nm. Hasil pengamatan organoleptis terhadap warna dan bau racikan pulveres nevirapin tidak ditemukan adanya perubahan dari awal pengamatan yaitu tetap berwarna putih dan tidak berbau. Hasil dari uji kadar dan pH menunjukkan bahwa tidak ditemukan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan pada perolehan kadar dan pH nevirapin pada setiap interval hari pengamatan selama 28 hari baik pada suhu 25°C maupun 4°C (sig.2-tailed>0,05). Berdasarkan hasil pengujian tersebut, racikan pulveres nevirapin stabil selama 28 hari pada suhu penyimpanan 25°C dan 4°C sehingga hasil ini sesuai dengan ketentuan beyond use date untuk sediaan nonaqueous formulation.
