New employees come in contact with an organization through onboarding programs. The author hasstudied strategic onboarding programs of world-known companies and recounted the most eye-catching features of them in the article such as suggesting newcomers money for not working at the company or meeting new employees with a bottle of wine. In conclusion, the author distinguishes some common features of successful onboarding programs.
