Cosmética termal y turismo termal: el caso de la comunidad autónoma de Galicia-España

Abstract

espanolEste trabajo engloba el turismo termal dentro del concepto del turismo de salud, y confirma a la cosmetica termal como un nuevo negocio para los balnearios espanoles. El objetivo es identificar la importancia de la cosmetica termal para los balnearios gallegos y los aspectos del marketing relacionados a ella en estos centros. Los balnearios crean y empiezan a ofrecer sus propias marcas cosmeticas en tratamientos esteticos. La cosmetica termal, cuyo principio activo son las propiedades del agua mineromedicinal del balneario, es una forma de aprovechar mejor el principal recurso de un balneario y ofrecer un nuevo producto con caracteristicas unicas al cliente anadiendo valor al centro termal. La metodologia esta basada en una investigacion empirica, descriptiva y se adopto un enfoque cualitativo. Como instrumento de recogida de datos se utilizo un cuestionario estructurado, mediante la tecnica de la entrevista en profundidad con preguntas abiertas y cerradas. Los resultados concluyen que la cosmetica termal tiene gran importancia en aspectos intangibles para los balnearios gallegos y se describieron estos aspectos ademas de identificar otras relevantes informaciones relacionadas al marketing.
