La agricultura urbana como alternativa de abastecimiento de alimentos vegetales: un ejercicio desde la cienciometría

Abstract

Las comunidades urbanas están en riesgo permanente y son vulnerables ante situaciones catastróficas que propician inseguridad alimentaria. En este artículo se realizó una revisión sistemática de literatura científica de las publicaciones en revistas indexadas en las bases de datos de Scopus y Web of Science, con el objetivo de identificar avances, tendencias e impactos en la línea de tiempo, relacionados con la agricultura urbana (AU) como tópico de seguridad alimentaria, cambio climático y desarrollo sostenible. La metodología parte del Método Prisma (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses), e incorpora herramientas cienciométricas y de análisis de los resultados, que resultan en el denominado Árbol de la Ciencia (Tree of Science). Como caso se ha presento el estado del arte en AU en los últimos veinte años, derivado en la lectura de 44 investigaciones alrededor del mundo, que poseen conexiones entre autores, y que dan cuenta de que es una alternativa de alimentación sustentable que da respuesta de mediano plazo a las incertidumbres de abastecimiento alimentario vegetal en las ciudades. Se concluye que la cienciometría es una herramienta potencial para la revisión y delimitación bibliográfica.
