Evaluación de las propiedades mecánicas de paneles de ferrocemento con agregado fino reciclado

Abstract

Este trabajo describe la obtención de paneles de ferrocemento con la incorporación de agregado fino reciclado (AFR) obtenidos a partir de la trituración de escombros de concreto. Se partió de la obtención de un mortero referencia que cumpliera con la resistencia mínima a la compresión requerida para esta aplicación (25 MPa a los 28 días de curado) y asentamiento máximo de 6 cm. Se estudió el efecto sobre la resistencia a la compresión de este mortero de referencia, de la incorporación de AFR en niveles de 25%, 50%, 75% y 100%. Posteriormente y con base en resultados óptimos se elaboraron paneles de ferrocemento utilizando barras de acero, malla hexagonal y malla zaranda (ZAG). Los resultados obtenidos revelan la posibilidad de sustituir totalmente la arena natural por AFR en la fabricación de paneles de ferrocemento con resistencias a la flexión de hasta 34,16 MPa y morteros con resistencias a la compresión superiores a 7,3% a los basados en un 100% de arena natural.
