Abstract

El presente capitulo se incluye en la compilación aportando al experiencia laboral de Herminia Brumana, una educacionista argentina que se desempeñó en el sistema educativo a partir del año 1917. Su labor como docente estuvo acompañada de una constante labor de escritura que la posicionan como una mujer intelectual. Justamente, su primer libro editado fue un texto de uso escolar exclusivo para los alumnos y alumnas de los grados superiores del sistema educativo, Palabritas (1918). Dicho texto sufrió el rechazo de las autoridades del sistema educativo, definiéndolo como no aceptado para uso escolar. El capitulo analiza el libro y lo sitúa en la vida de Brumana al recuperar el intercambio epistolar con la maestra tuvo con sus colegas sobre el texto. Se trata de un capitulo que analiza los gajes del oficio docente a partir de la vida de Brumana.
