Abstract

Bringing computer power to geographically dispersed users, the concept behind the computer utility, will have a powerful impact on business management. The computer utility is expected by some to stimulate change as important as the industrial revolution. This article focuses on the advantages of computer utility use, the areas most likely to be affected, and an estimate of how soon to expect change.
