Abstract

Ober das Vorkommen und die Verbreitung der mitteleuropaischen Wassermilben sind wir sehr gut unterrichtet, uiber ihre Biologie wissen wir aber noch recht wenig. Die ersten experimentell-okologischen Untersuchungen an Wassermilben fiuhrten Schwoerbel (1959) und Bottger (1962) durch. Das Material fur die vorliegende Untersuchung besteht in der kontinuierlich uiber einen Jahreszyklus (1963/1964) eingesammelten Drift in einem mitteldeutschen Bergbach (Breitenbach, Zufluss zur Fulda nahe der Stadt Schlitz).
