Abstract

En la actualidad es posible decir, parodiando el Manifiesto Comunista de 1847, que Brasil tambien "es recorrido por un fantasma"; ese fantasma atemoriza a los poderosos y a las mentes preclaras de nuestro tiempo aunque no recupere la unica bandera del proletariado comunista (por algunas razones de las cuales hablaremos mas adelante). Ese fantasma, que ha sido exorcizado por las armas del intelecto mas que por las de la violencia abierta (pues la "violencia estructural" continua siendo eficaz, como nos lo recuerda Galtung, 1987), se manifiesta en la aparici6n del sujeto revolucionario. Es decir, vuelven a existir sectores empefiados en negar la 16gica del sistema capitalista y, por tanto, en transformar radicalmente la sociedad y dirigirla al socialismo. Sin embargo, y contra la previsi6n historica del Manifiesto, ejecutado en 1848, este fantasma no ha preparado su reencarnaci6n mediante confrontaciones directas y guerras civiles. Mas bien, realiza conquistas moleculares y experiencias parciales acumulativas, en las cuales ejercita su propia construcci6n como sujeto social que anticipa el futuro frente a la historicidad de las necesidades no satisfechas por esta sociedad.
