Abstract

En una grave crisis de rentabilidad e inversion productiva, el sector agropecuario mexicano ha sido victima de una politica economica de ajuste que causa el desplome de la acumulacion de capital en el campo. En aras de la estabilizacion economica, y la disminucion en la inversion publica y los creditos han sacrificado a dicho sector. En este contexto se analizan los probables efectos de la firma de un Tratado de Libre Comercio entre Mexico y Estados Unidos, pues un libre comercio irrestricto podria acarrear consecuencias realmente catastroficas para Mexico, a saber: la desaparicion de varias de sus cosechas mas importantes
