yasGr GROWING right-wing movement in the United States has moved from the fringes to the center of political life. This movement has captured the Reg t ~~publican Party and has made major inroads into the Democratic Party. Even "moderate" political leaders of both parties are embracing many right-wing ideas. In the health care sector, these ideas are taking on increasing importance, and currently threaten the entire Medicare program. How have right-wing ideas become so prominent and what is the nature of the right-wing health agenda?
