Abstract

L'A. propose la publication de la copie de la bulle pontificale In agro dominico conservee a Mayence a la Stadtbibliothek, MS I 151, Fols. 201r-202r. Il s'agit de la condamnation de Maitre Eckhart sur la charge d'heresie. Les contemporains d'Eckhart furent surpris de voir un eminent theologien appartenant de surcroit a l'ordre des dominicains - institue comme le gardien de l'orthodoxie doctrinale - condamne pour heresie. Que le maitre ait ete ou non mal compris est sujet a discussion. Par contre, on ne peut mettre en doute la volonte du pape de proscrire les erreurs d'Eckhart
