Diálogo latinoamericano-árabe: Desde el multi-e interculturalismo hacia la multipolaridad

Abstract

Este articulo pretende enfocar la interaccion cultural entre el mundo latinoamericano y el Oriente Medio, reavivada por la masiva emigracion arabe al Nuevo Mundo desde finales del siglo XIX. De ahi que el articulo trate de averiguar como fue lograda esta convivencia entre arabes y latinoamericanos a pesar del complejo del "turco" y resaltar como incidieron el ambiente cultural latinoamericano y el bagaje cultural de esos emigrantes en ocasionar esa convivencia. Ademas, se propone subrayar como llego el interculturalismo entre estos dos mundos a dar un paso firme dentro del marco de los estudios postcoloniales hacia el abordamiento de las interrelaciones de subyugados a fin de descubrir nuevas formas de exploracion y reconocimiento del "otro" y, por consiguiente, lograr mayor equidad dentro de la actual globalizacion.
