Abstract

ergonomia do envelhecimento, ergonomia do idoso, acessibilidade e mobilidade urbana. Segundo o Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE) (2005), em 2025, a população idosa do Brasil será de 30 milhões de indivíduos, aproximadamente 13% da população total. O texto incorpora ao tema acessibilidade-mobilidade urbana características e requisitos para apropriação física do espaço urbano, pelos pedestres ou usuários de transportes públicos, pertencentes à população idosa.
