Abstract

A incidência de sífilis na Europa continua a aumentar. Segundo o último relatório dos ECDC (2015), a taxa de incidência de sífilis em Portugal e em Espanha aumentou, de 2008 para 2012, de 0,9 para 2,5/100.000 habitantes e 5,6 para 7,8/100.000 habitantes respetivamente1. Os factores de risco para a sífilis são similares aos da infeção pelo VIH, com evidente associação epidemiológica
