La aparición de morbilidad por fracturas por fragilidad en paciente con VIH presenta un incremento en los últimos años probablemente en relación con el aumento de la supervivencia de estos pacientes y el uso de tratamientos potencialmente tóxicos para el tejido óseo. La preocupación creciente sobre este problema ha llevado a la publicación de un consenso de recomendaciones.
