Abstract

Esta investigación se enfoca en la contaminación sonora de la ciudad de Ilo, la finalidad principal del texto es evaluar la preocupante situación acústica existente en la ciudad, para lo cual se aplicaron técnicas de monitoreo y muestreo en las vías férreas y autopistas, para obtener el nivel de presión sonora mediante un sonómetro. Objetivo. Determinar los niveles de presión sonora que produce el parque automotor en el horario diurno y nocturno en la ciudad de Ilo. Materiales y métodos. Para calibrar y realizar de manera correcta el monitoreo se utilizó la metodología de la DIGESA, NTP 1996-1 del 2007 y el protocolo nacional de monitoreo del ruido ambiental AMC N° 031-2011-MINAM/OGA. Sonómetro Clase I de marca Larson & Davis®- IEC 61672 (International Electrotechnical Commission, IEC Standard). Resultados. Según la metodología desarrollada podemos inferir lo siguiente: en las cinco estaciones de monitoreo la presión sonora sobrepasa los 50 dBA y 60 dBA que propone la normativa peruana para zonas mixtas que oscilan desde un mínimo de 42 dBA hasta un máximo de 118 dBA en horario diurno. Para el caso de horario nocturno oscilan entre un mínimo de 40 dBA hasta un máximo de 90 dBA. Conclusión. Los resultados nos demuestran que los niveles de presión sonora son elevados y el promedio es de 70,96 dB por el flujo del parque automotor y la línea férrea que transcurre por el medio de la ciudad y que no se cumple con la normativa nacional y local.
