Níveis de proteína bruta na dieta de juvenis de matrinxã (Brycon amazonicus)

Abstract

Este estudo teve como objetivo avaliar o efeito de níveis de proteína bruta sobre o desempenho de crescimento e composição corporal de juvenis de Brycon amazonicus. Quatro dietas experimentais foram formuladas contendo níveis crescentes de proteína bruta (PB) em 30, 35, 40 e 45%. Cada dieta foi fornecida a três grupos de juvenis de Brycon amazonicus, peso médio de estocagem inicial de 3,2 ± 1,3 g, por 60 dias sob um delineamento experimental inteiramente casualizado. Foram estocados 50 peixes de forma aleatória em 12 tanques circulares com volume de 500 L a 28 °C. Os peixes foram avaliados para ganho individual de peso (GP), conversão alimentar aparente (CAA), taxa de crescimento específico (TCE), taxa de eficiência proteica (TEP) e composição corporal. Ao final do experimento, a inclusão de 30% de PB apresentou desempenho inferior em relação aos três tratamentos restantes. Conforme TCE, TEP e umidade corporal, os peixes não foram afetados pelos tratamentos (P > 0,05), GP e CAA foram significativamente melhores (P < 0,05) quando os peixes foram alimentados com dietas com mais de 35% de inclusão CP. Entanto, o CAA foi maior nos peixes alimentados com dietas com mais de 40% de PB. Portanto, recomenda-se que juvenis de Brycon amazonicus devem ser alimentados com ração contendo entre 40 a 45% de inclusão para um crescimento satisfatório.
