Abstract

Ritmos paralelos es un proyecto que evidencia la transición de la tradición cultural respecto a la música y la danza, en el municipio de Piedecuesta – Santander, usando fotografía histórica y actual, desde los años ߿ࠄs aproximadamente, para ello se utilizó un método histórico – etnográfco, que permitió el acceso a los datos gracias a la observación meticulosa de la fotografía histórica, que fue adquirida por medio de técnicas como entrevistas, observación de material personal de artistas de la zona, búsqueda de registro en redes y fuentes bibliográficas, entre otras, lo anterior es referente al registro antiguo. La obra por su parte fue realizada haciendo fotografías de las acciones que se encontraron en las antiguas imágenes, acercándose a las características y reproduciéndose conla mayor exactitud posible, creando una exposición – instalación artística querefeja el paralelo temporal.
