Abstract

Abstract Pengajaran Tilawah al-Quran dalam sistem pendidikan Malaysia telah mengalami transformasi signifikan melalui penstrukturan kurikulum Pendidikan Islam khususnya dalam pengintegrasian pengetahuan pedagogi kandungan yang digariskan dalam Pelan Pembangunan Pendidikan Malaysia. Walau bagaimanapun, kajian-kajian empirikal terdahulu mendapati guru Pendidikan Islam masih mencatatkan tahap pengetahuan pedagogi kandungan (PPK) yang sederhana, serta cenderung mengamalkan kaedah pengajaran tradisional yang berpusatkan guru. Berlandaskan integrasi teori efikasi kendiri dan model PPK, kajian ini menentukan hubungan antara pengalaman mengajar dan PPK dalam kalangan guru Pendidikan Islam. Kajian kuantitatif berbentuk tinjauan ini melibatkan 149 guru Pendidikan Islam di sekolah menengah harian Zon Barat Sabah dengan menggunakan soal selidik berstruktur 12 item dengan nilai kebolehpercayaan tinggi (>.90). Dapatan menunjukkan tahap pengalaman mengajar (M=3.99, SP=0.56) dan PPK (M=4.00, SP=0.70) berada pada tahap sederhana tinggi, dengan hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara keyakinan mengajar dengan PPK (r=-.175, p<.05). Penemuan ini memberi implikasi penting terhadap transformasi program Pembangunan profesional guru yang perlu mengimbangi antara pengalaman praktikal dengan inovasi pedagogi kontemporari.
