Perencanaan Jaringan 5G New Radio (NR) pada Frekuensi 3,5 GHz di Area Wisata Candi Borobudur Menggunakan Model Propagasi Urban Macro (UMa)

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini, perencanaan jaringan 5G New Radio (NR) dilakukan pada frekuensi 3,5 GHz dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Atoll 3.4 dengan studi kasus di area Wisata Candi Borobudur. Jaringan 5G New Radio (NR) diharapkan dapat memberikan kecepatan data yang lebih tinggi, latensi yang lebih rendah, dan kapasitas yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan generasi sebelumnya Tujuan dari perencanaan ini adalah untuk mengestimasi cakupan jaringan di area Wisata Candi Borobudur yang memiliki luas area perencanaan sebesar 0,828 km². Model propagasi Urban Macro (UMa), berdasarkan standar 3GPP TR 38.901, digunakan untuk sinyal downlink. Penelitian ini berfokus pada kondisi downlink Outdoor-to-Outdoor (O2O) yang menganalisis kondisi Line of Sight (LOS) dengan mempertimbangkan dua parameter utama: Secondary Synchronous Reference Signal Received Power (SS-RSRP), dan SS Signal-to-Noise Ratio, and Interference Ratio (SS-SINR). Hasil perhitungan yang telah dilakukan, terdapat pelemahan sinyal sebesar 74,43 dB. Hasil coverage area planning, Wisata Candi Borobudur membutuhkan 18 site. Berdasarkan hasil dari simulasi menunjukkan bahwa nilai SS-RSRP dengan nilai rata-rata -48,56 dBm, dikategorikan sebagai “sangat baik” yang mencakup 100% area. Parameter SS-SINR memiliki nilai rata-rata -2,18 dB, mencakup 81,4% area dengan kategori “buruk”.
