Este artículo explora la experiencia del Directorio Académico de Estudiantes Negros de Ciencias Sociales de la UFF, una iniciativa autónoma dedicada a la lectura y profundización de intelectuales negros. Se destaca el encuentro de estos estudiantes con la docencia de Ana María Motta, profesora que acoge perspectivas insurgentes y críticas, fomentando una formación académica comprometida con los saberes negros y la transformación de las prácticas pedagógicas tradicionales.
