Mahajan, director of mental health prevention and promotion initiatives at the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC), is part of a new generation that is striving to ensure workplaces are as safe psychologically as they are physically. It’s easy to forget, she points out, that it took decades before occupational health and safety standards became the norm in workplaces.
