“Se quiere desalentar el matrimonio”. La heteronorma en las discusiones sobre el Acuerdo de Unión Civil en Chile

Abstract

En Chile, el Acuerdo de Unión Civil, anterior a la Ley de Matrimonio Igualitario, dejó fuera el reconocimiento de hijos/as de personas LGBTIQ+. Este artículo analiza las discusiones ocurridas durante el proceso de deliberación. El método empleado es un análisis posestructuralista de políticas públicas que permitió identificar las representaciones del problema. Se concluye que se mantiene la heteronormatividad en las acciones del Estado debido a los discursos conservadores en la legislación.
