Estrutura da comunidade fitoplanctônica no gradiente de salinidade do estuário de Cananéia – SP

Abstract

Realizou-se no estuario de Cananeia a partir da coleta de amostras em dois extremos de salinidade, regiao da barra 31%o e mar interno 19%o, a comparacao da estrutura fitoplanctonica. Verificou-se pelo indice de Jaccard (0,31) e Sorrensen (0,48) que as comunidades sao biologicamente diferentes. A regiao com menor salinidade obteve a dominância de especies Sketetonema costatum com 23,21% e Thalassionema nitzschioides com 20,19% de representatividade, que proporcionaram uma riqueza especifica menor no mar interno (41 < 51), enquanto na barra as especies com maior representatividade foram Leptocylindricus danicus com 14,02% e Cerataulina pelagica com 10,61%. Concluiu-se entao que a estrutura das comunidades fitoplanctonicas estuarinas sao distintas nos extremos e que variam no gradiente de salinidade em funcao da oscilacao da mare.
