Entornos personales de aprendizaje: modelo teórico para el desarrollo metacognitivo

Abstract

El propósito de la investigación estuvo orientado en proponer los entornos personales de aprendizaje para el desarrollo metacognitivo en los estudiantes de sexto semestre del programa de Ingeniería de Sistemas en las instituciones de educación superior Cecar, Corposucre y la Unad en Sincelejo, Sucre, Colombia. Para tales efectos se consideró plantear una metodología de tipo descriptiva, bajo un diseño no experimental, transversal y de campo. La población se conformó por 68 estudiantes. Como técnica de recolección de datos se empleó la observación por encuesta y como instrumento se aplicó un cuestionario de 24 preguntas, con cinco alternativas de respuestas; fue validado por cinco expertos y se determinó su confiabilidad con la aplicación de la fórmula de alfa Cronbach, que arrojó un valor de 0,87523, categorizándolo de alta confiabilidad. Los resultados señalaron que se hace necesario proponer los entornos personales de aprendizaje como una opción pedagógica para el desarrollo de las habilidades metacognitivas de los estudiantes. Por lo cual se planteó un entorno personal de aprendizaje para el desarrollo de la metacognición con la finalidad de generar lineamientos y estrategias de acción que mejoren las habilidades metacognitivas, en función del aprendizaje autorregulado y autodirigido de los estudiantes de Ingeniería de Sistemas.
