Abstract

DESCRIBE LA NATURALEZA DE LA DISTRIBUCIÓN DE LAGRANGIAN POISSON SEGUN FUE DESARROLLADA POR JANARDAN & SCHAEFFER. OFRECE LAS ECUACIONES ESPECIFICAS PARA LOS CASOS EN QUE LAS FRECUENCIAS DE CERO OBSERVACIONES ESTÁN PRESENTEN EN LA MUESTRA RECOLECTADA. COMO EN EL CAMPO DE LA BIBLIOMETRIA ES POCO COMÚN ENCONTRARSE CON DATOS DE ESTE TIPO, SE DESCRIBE PASO A PASO LA FORMA DE APLICACIÓN DEL MODELO A LOS DATOS ESTUDIADOS POR TARGINO & CALDEIRA SOBRE LA PRODUCCIÓN DE LOS DOCENTES DE LA UNIVERSIDAD FEDERAL DE PIAUI, BRASIL. LA PRUEBA BADEL FUE USADA PARA AJUSTAR LOS DATOS QUE VAN DE LOS OBSERVADOS A LOS ESPERADOS. CON UNA TASA DE DISPERSIÓN G2=0.53925 Y UNA TASA DE ATRACCIÓN G1=0.112054, A UN NIVEL DE 0.05 DE SIGNIFICANCIA Y 3 GRADOS DE LIBERTAD, SE VERIFICO QUE EL VALOR CRITICO DEL X2 FUE IGUAL A 7.81473, MAYOR QUE EL VALOR DEL X2 CALCULADO DE 6.027. POR TANTO SE CONCLUYE QUE LA PRODUCTIVIDAD DE LOS PROFESORES SE AJUSTA MUY BIEN AL MODELO LAGRANGIAN POISSON.
