Abstract

<p>Nuestra sociedad demanda cada vez más individuos competentes y comprometidos con el bienestar social. El enfoque socioafectivo de las competencias, que obedece a las nuevas tendencias en educación, se enmarca no tanto en la idea de acumular conocimientos, sino de preparar estudiantes que consoliden su trayectoria escolar al clarificar un proyecto ético de vida. Este proyecto promueve su integridad personal y su contribución a la prosperidad y apoyo social.<br />Este trabajo se deriva de la aplicación de una propuesta educativa, el aprendizaje-servicio, dentro de las actividades de nuestro Bachillerato virtual, específicamente en la asignatura de Psicología del desarrollo humano. El propósito es que el estudiante adquiera un compromiso personal que lo lleve a contribuir a la mejora de las condiciones en que viven los seres humanos que lo rodean, específicamente la de quienes se encuentran en situaciones vulnerables. Se trata de que al desarrollar competencias específicas, vaya más allá de su yo individual, y contribuya con sus acciones educativas y personales al engrandecimiento<br />de su sociedad.</p><p>La idea central radica en que los estudiantes ofrezcan servicios y productos a la comunidad para fortalecer las competencias y obtener, así, satisfacciones tanto escolares como personales.
