Remotely controlled myelography with 70 mm. spot filming, a rotating cradle, remotely operated restraining and positioning device, and remotely operated siphonage of the contrast material following the procedure, is a faster, more precise way of performing myelography, well tolerated by the patient and the operator. The addition of a vacuum enforced restraining device permits 360° (supine) thoracic myelography with ease. This combination is better suited to the uncooperative, debilitated or paralyzed patient than conventional means, and results in a high quality examination. It further simplifies and expedites myelography in cooperative patients.
