Análisis del perfil de competitividad de la caprinocultura de Baja California Sur, México

Abstract

El objetivo es analizar el perfil de competitividad de la caprinocultura en BCS. Se analizaron 50 empresas rurales dedicadas a la caprinocultura, todas localizadas en Mulegé, seleccionadas mediante técnica de muestro aleatorio. Se obtuvo información para los factores de Gerencia, Mercadeo, Calidad, Productividad y Ambiente, permitiendo construir el índice de capacidad competitiva (ICC) de las empresas rurales. Entre los factores, la valoración más fuerte se reconoce en Ambiente y Gerencia, mientras que la más débil en Mercadeo, Calidad y Productividad. El trabajo concluye con la vulnerabilidad de la actividad ante entornos competitivos y expresa propuestas de mejora.
