Environmental factors affect the geographical ranges of aquatic animals in abandoned irrigation ponds.

Abstract

兵庫県神戸市北区山田町藍那地区に多数分布する放棄ため池のうち, 56ヵ所において、2000年夏期と2001年冬期に, それぞれ水棲生物の捕獲調査を行い, 生息種および生息密度と、ため池周辺環境との関連性について解析した。その結果、樹木等によってため池上空が被覆され, その開放率が低下するに伴い, アメリカザリガニの捕獲される割合が増加するという結果力得られた。また, アメリカザリガニの生息密度および生息の有無について検討したところ, ため池の地理的な分布位置によって、それらが大きく異なることが明らかになった。このような偏った分布特性は、過去におけるアメリカザリガニの分布域拡大過程の影響を受けているものと考察された。
