EFFECT OF AMMONIA-NITROGEN ON ACIDOGENESIS IN ANAEROBIC DIGESTION

Abstract

嫌気性消化における炭水化物とタンパク質の分解に及ぼすアンモニアの影響を検討するため, 基質にデンプンとペプトンを用い, アンモニア性窒素濃度を変化させた回分実験を行った. その結果, ペプトンの分解速度は, ほとんど影響を受けなかったが, デンプンの分解速度は, アンモニア性窒素濃度の増大とともに大きく減少した. さらに, 炭水化物の代謝に及ぼすアンモニア性窒素の影響を検討するために, グルコースで培養した酸生成細菌を用いて回分実験を行ったところ, アンモニア性窒素濃度の増大に伴い, 分解したグルコース当たりの酪酸生成量は減少した. 一方, エタノールの生成は, アンモニア性窒素濃度の増大に伴い, 増加する傾向を示した.
