Perception of God in Subjective Nature of Theological Discourse

Abstract

This study explores the interface between science and religion and in particular asks the question: Is God evolving? It examines how the concept of God has changed over time in Islam and Christianity as humanity grows intellectually and spiritually. Utilising ideas from theologians, particularly Ibn Khaldun, the study attempts to link the unchanging nature of God with evolving human understanding. By combining scientific advances with religious insights, it offers a new perspective on the ongoing dialogue between faith and reason. The study finds that while God remains the same, our perception of God evolves with our knowledge and beliefs. It invites the reader to reflect on how our understanding of God changes as we grow.
