Abstract

Das Fach Informationswissenschaft ist seit etwa zehn Jahren an wissenschaftlichen Hochschulen der Bundesrepublik vertreten. Die Entwicklung von Lehr- und Forschungsaktivitäten der Informationswissenschaft ist sehr eng verbunden mit dem Programm der Bundesregierung zur Förderung der Information und Dokumentation 1974 bis 1977 ( IuD-Programm). Die Betrachtungen konzentrieren sich auf die Aktivitäten in Berlin, Konstanz, Regensburg und Saarbrücken.
