Abstract

Trends in consumer behavior impose new principles of functioning. The consumer moves from the phase of crisis to the phase of post crisis has become more frugal and each of its purchase is considered and verified. New trends are an inspiration for the innovation. One of such innovations on the market today are group buying portals. Increasingly popular, they have become one of the dominate forms of e-commerce purchases. The study includes an analysis of popularity of the group buying. Presented in terms of volume various forms of shopping, knowledge of group buying websites and preferred product groups purchased via these sites.
