Revisión sistemática y bibliométrica de estudios en fitomejoramiento; tendencias de investigación (2015 -2025)

Abstract

El fitomejoramiento integra metodologías para desarrollar cultivares superiores que respondan a necesidades agronómicas, nutricionales y ambientales. Mediante una revisión sistemática en Scopus (2015-2025), se recuperó un total de 4233 documentos, de los cuales 1284 fueron analizados mediante métodos bibliométricos con el software VOSviewer y 120 publicaciones fueron evaluadas en texto completo para el análisis final. Los resultados mostraron 29 palabras clave en seis grupos temáticos: reproducción acelerada y adaptación al cambio climático, diversidad genética, biología molecular y marcadores, genética cuantitativa, haplotipos y algoritmos genéticos, y finalmente CRISPR-Cas y genómica. La distribución por áreas del conocimiento mostró un predominio de las ciencias agrícolas y biológicas (83.9%), con una participación marginal de las ciencias de la computación (1.4%) y la ingeniería (0.7%), lo que revela una brecha de adopción tecnológica aún por cerrar. Los resultados indican que el fitomejoramiento transita hacia un enfoque integrativo de tecnologías (genómica predictiva, edición génica, tecnologías 4.0), pero persisten asimetrías en la atención a cultivos de pequeña agricultura y limitaciones en transferencia varietal. Se concluye que cerrar esta brecha requiere innovación técnica y voluntad institucional para garantizar un mejoramiento inclusivo, resiliente y sostenible para afrontar el cambio climático y la seguridad alimentaria.
